Breaking industry news in uk

Some sad sad news for people in the uk whom shop in menswear shops..

Two major high street brands are on the brink.

The Officers club with over 100 stores and well over a 1,000 staff are to file for administration..

Not only is it a sad day for the officers club but also henleys stores.

The headline for Henleys is a little different: "£10m pay boss puts Henleys stores in administration"

The owner of menswear group Henleys has put all 18 of its stores into administration, making 204 staff redundant - despite paying himself an eightfigure salary last year.

The Hugo Boss Derby in waxed leather

This is a great looking designer shoe for men from no other than top brand Hugo boss.

The Derby is not a normal leather shoe but one made from waxed Goat leather with normal "cow" leather lining and sole.

I've been wanting for an age to start bloggin about the world of menswear and now going to start..

What's the point, well I see loads of stuff that catches my eye, and thought this blog may be of interest OR not to others..

My background, well I've worked and got friends in the biz and have an opinion on most things.. Avid snowboarder but that doesn't mean for 1 second I'm not into my smart suits and evening wear :)

Off to hunt for a few ideas for the first few posts and we take it from there..
